Hillside House

Set into a green hillside, this house rises in two clear layers: a solid, stone-clad lower floor that holds the carport, and a lighter upper floor wrapped in timber louvres under a broad, overhanging roof.

Stone steps climb the planted slope beside the drive, and the house sits among tall trees with the hills rising behind it.
