Tiled Canopy House

A pitched timber canopy with a tiled roof stands in front of this house like a gateway, sheltering the car and the entrance beneath its open frame.

Behind it, the house combines exposed concrete, a stone-clad base and a terracotta tiled roof. A cantilevered balcony with slatted screens and trailing creepers adds depth to the upper floor, and a stone forecourt with grass joints runs out to the garden.
